Scudamore/Skidmore DNA Project
The Y-chromosome of the human DNA is passed from father to son through the generations with very little mutation. This characteristic, combined with vital record documents, is a powerful means for males today to identify a Most Recent Common Ancestor (MRCA).
By these means, several Skidmore lines have been firmly established.
Under the leadership of W. Frank Skidmore, our DNA project was initially hosted by the company Relative Genetics, and three reports were issued by them.
The Phase 3 report was issued October 20, 2006.
Further information on our recently revived project will be available here shortly.
